Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Engineers
Job Brief
As a rapidly growing small business, we are seeking Junior, Midlevel, and Senior Engineers across various disciplines to support quality engineering deliverables for the U.S. Navy, MSC, and USCG. The engineers will play a critical role in designing, analyzing, and delivering systems related to Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural engineering for marine vessels. If you also have excellent people skills, marine HM&E experience, exemplary work ethic and an excellent understanding of U.S. Navy, USCG and MSC ship systems, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
Working as a team to review and approve all engineering and technical deliverables.
Collaborate with the team and in some cases, lead and mentor engineers and designers.
Perform Engineering analysis using a variety of engineering tools.
Quality Assurance of all engineering deliverables.
Client facing.
Develop drawings in AutoCAD.
Assist the PM in business development and customer relations.
Expect 10% domestic and international travel.
Requirements
Proven engineering experience with US Navy, UCG or MSC vessels.
Existing knowledge and understanding of industry practices and requirements.
Must be technology-focused with a good background using and implementing technology into business processes.
Ability to interface with the client.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
AutoCAD experience.
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
BS/BE in Engineering or relevant field.
Must be able to maintain or get a secret level security clearance.
Requirements by Discipline
Electrical Engineers:
Expertise in Internal Communications, Power & Light, or Combat Systems preferred.
Experience with electrical systems for U.S. Navy, USCG, or MSC vessels is required.
Mechanical Engineers:
Experience with Piping/HVAC systems and conducting engineering calculations.
Proven ability to deliver mechanical designs for marine environments.
Structural Engineers:
Proficiency in Structural/Arrangements and FEA calculations.
Experience in structural design and analysis for ship systems.
